Fork for Perfect Contour

Products Needed: A metal or plastic fork
What it Does: Provides a guide for contour
Cost: $1/free*

Let’s face it, most of us have a fork laying around the house, so this hack is essentially free. If you’ve spent years attempting to master the art of contouring but have always struggled, you might only need to go to your kitchen. When you set the fork on your nose, it serves as a guideline for where to apply the highlight (center) and shade (either side). It may appear to be an odd thing to do with a fork, but as long as you clean it afterwards, no one will notice. Some make-up artists spend thousands of dollars learning how to contour, so this is an extremely inexpensive option.
