Juliane was dressed in a short, sleeveless dress and sandals, not the most practical outfit for the jungle. She tried to brush off any fears, as she needed to focus on the task at hand. Having spent over a year with her parents at a research centre in the Amazon, she was no stranger to the Peruvian jungles. She reminded herself of this and proceeded, confident in her knowledge.
