The Search Continues

The emergency service workers feared the worst at this point, but they refused to give up hope. They worked tirelessly throughout the day and into the night, as loved ones of the missing waited anxiously for any news.

They prayed that those still missing might have been lucky enough to find air pockets beneath the debris. If this was the case, then it’s possible that the thick snow might have provided sufficient insulation to protect them from the freezing temperatures. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case.
