Media Attention
While Stokke had steadily been making a great name for herself in the pole vaulting community, she wasn’t yet reaching the worldwide success she deserved and yearned for but that soon changed.

Her recovery, matched with her excellent performance turned the teenager into a media star. She garnered a lot of national attention but sadly not all of it was good with a large audience watching Stokke’s every move.
