In an interview she did on ABC’s 20/20, Beth recalled what happened on that early morning send off. “I helped her get her bag out of the car and just kissed her goodbye, said ‘I love you, have a great time.’ And then she entered the door, and the door closed. Never could I have imagined that would be the last time.”
