5. A Letter No One Saw Coming

This story begins with Adam receiving a letter from the courts, informing him that he had inherited something from his long-lost dad. He was stunned, as his father hadn’t spoken to him since his disappearance fifteen years ago.

Adam’s mother had declared his father deceased in the hopes of inheriting something valuable. Instead, Adam was the sole heir to his father’s fortune.
