The Huge Wedding Cake

It was no surprise that given their status, the wedding was extreme. Of course, so were the wedding cakes. Did you know they had a total of 27 wedding cakes? The official wedding cake was made of five tiers and stood over 5 feet tall, weighing more than 200 pounds.

The official cake was created by David Avery, the head baker of the Royal Naval Cookery School. After more than 33 years since it was baked, a slice of the cake was auctioned off at a huge sum of $1,375. Apparently, the cake is still edible.
