Studying In Nebraska

After the end of WWII and his discharge from the U.S. Navy, he went to enrol at a college in Nebraska. In the fall of 1945, Johnny Carson enrolled became a student at the University of Nebraska to study radio and speech.

Although Carson was a natural entertainer, he had no official knowledge. Studying radio and speech would give him the foundation he needed in the best possible way. Little did he know, he’d go on to become one of the best.
