After he got his degree from the University of Nebraska, he knew he wanted to pursue a career in entertainment. He should’ve gone straight to doing TV roles in hindsight, but his degree was in speech and radio, after all.

With his degree, Carson got his first job as a radio presenter. He wrote and performed comical skits and commercials on WOW in Omaha. But it was apparent that he was meant for much bigger things.
