Malcolm Hebden played the role of Norris Cole, a loudmouth who loves to gossip, in Coronation Street. After 27 fantastic years of playing Norris Cole, Hebden announced that he was leaving the show.

Hebden had undergone surgery prior to his departure from the show. After the operation, he decided to return to do a few more episodes. However, this time, Hebden has decided to leave the show for good. On top of that, he’s decided to quit acting, too.
