After Kevin Spacey was fired, the directors of 2017’s All the Money in the World made a bold decision. They decided to completely recast the role and reshoot the film’s connecting scenes. Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Williams had to return to film scenes that they had already shot.

Michelle Williams, a four-time Oscar nominee, had a clause in her contract that only required producers to pay her $1,000 for long reshoots. While Michelle Williams was a former star of The WB’s Dawson’s Creek made very little, Mark Wahlberg earned $1.5 million more than his initial salary.
