Being autistic doesn’t mean that Timothy wants different things to his peer group. Growing up, he went through all the normal stages that any other kid goes through – learning to speak, learning to make friends, learning new skills at school, etc.

What makes him different is that during any of these activities, there can be certain triggers that mean that Timothy becomes a little more stressed out than the other kids. Like any other child, he loves to play games, and enjoys them a lot more when his peer group are involved.
