The old man was not going to let this slide by, as he tried to argue with Irwin. He did not expect for someone else to be witnessing the kind of bullying he did to Savannah. Irwin planned on waiting until the end of the flight to talk to the man but when he saw Savannah barely holding herself up, he lost it.

Irwin told WTVF in an interview that he knew he had to do something when he saw Savannah visibly upset. He did not want her to be sitting beside this poor excuse of a man the entire flight and have her thinking that he was mocking her.
