Falling Into The Water
First she heard just one crack. But then she heard another crack until Amelia could feel the rest of the ice giving out. Just as she tried to take one more step so she could get to safety, the ice below her crumbled.

Amelia fell into freezing-cold water! Thankfully, she knew how to swim. However, the water was too cold for her to think straight and move her arms. Aside from that, the injury she sustained from her fall bothered her too much.
