Her Guardian Angel

The name on the collar said Nanook. As it turns out, Nanook is an Alaskan Inuit name which means “polar bear.” Nanook barked when she heard her name being called out. Suddenly, Amelia didn’t feel so hopeless anymore.

Amelia used all the strength she had left in her to get up and begin moving. Nanook ran, turning every couple feet of so with Amelia trailing behind her. They were going to see this through together.
